A Complaint

Today, I raise my voice against those

Who behave as if to the heart they’re close

As if that gives the right to poke their nose

In business thats totally mine to choose.

There are those who think

That I exist for their whim

And my helping hand they misinterpret

Into their personal servitor’s set

I detest those insensitive minds

Who deliberately turn blind

To the inconvenience caused to me

By their expectation of services for free

Those who irritate me the most

Are ones, who in their notions host

Preconceived ideas and for granted take

The existence of my being is for their sake

And what riles me out of my mind

Is that I spew such venom for humans of kind

Impure are they and they’ve polluted me

That today I fear for my own integrity

Dear Lord! Give me strength to fight for my goal

And to protect, preserve and improve my soul
