| "A bad day fishing at the Elk River is still better than a good day at work" This always sounded so good to us that we went fishing in the worst kind of weather. Many times Werner and myself went to the river and took our German Sheppard "Dutches" along. Almost every time we caught our limit of Whitefish and sometimes the odd trout. When we had enough Whitefish, Werner always did a fantastic job of smoking them. Smoking fish turned mostly into a great party. |
