The big day is almost here. On Tuesday, May 9, Hanson's
"This Time
Around" will finally be released.
It's been three years since Hanson bopped into the spotlight with
"Middle Of
Nowhere," so to celebrate the release of their follow-up album, Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson are scheduling a TV blitz.
According to MTV, Hanson will tape a performance for "The Late Show With David Letterman" today (Monday, May 8), and tomorrow (Tuesday, May 9) the brothers will spend some time chatting with Rosie on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show".
After their talk-show appearances, Hanson will visit MTV's Times Square studios to keep host Carson Daly company during "TRL" on Wednesday, May 10.
After their stint with MTV, the brothers will hold an in-store autograph session at Coconuts Record Store in Manhattan.
Hanson is still trying to organize their extended tour to promote
"This Time
Around", but Isaac, Taylor and Zac will be performing at a few radio festivals during the next two months, including performances on May 20 in Council Bluffs Iowa, Boston on June 3 and Providence, Rhode Island on June 4.
In addition to the above U.S. dates is a special event that Canadian Hanson fans will be excited about.
On May 9, the day Hanson's new album is released, fans can fill out a contest form at HMV for a chance to win a trip for two to Toronto on May 19 where they'll watch Hanson perform a few songs and play Indy 500 with the three brothers. The brief performance and the video race-car challenge will take place at Playdium (in Toronto), and fans will only be able to fill out prize ballots on May 9.
