Album Unveiled on Friday

Computer-literate Hanson fans can get a sneak preview of the group's new album this week.
"This Time
Around" isn't scheduled for release until May 9, but the album will be available online this week, MTV reports.
Hanson and
MTV.com
are planning a live online listening party in RealVideo on Friday night.
The Hanson brothers and MTV host Carson Daly will chat and listen to the album at MTV's Times Square Studios during the Webcast, which is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. (ET).
Eager fans can watch the Webcast only if they've downloaded the single
"This Time
Around" in LiquidAudio. Downloaders are given a top-secret Web address and a password to access the listening party. Fans can download the song until March 31.
Once loyal fans have accessed the Webcast, they'll be the first to hear Hanson's new album, which features guest appearances by John Popper of Blues Traveler and guitarist Jonny Lang.
"What we always said was just, 'Listen to the music'," Taylor Hanson told MTV. "I mean, we just love to play music, and we're just a band doing what any other band is doing. So I think it's just like, 'Hey, listen to the music.' You can like it. You can not like it. But this is who it is. This is what we are."
Hanson's first major-label album, "Middle Of
Nowhere", put the three brothers into the pop spotlight thanks to the hit single
"MMMBop".
