| Diana's Top 10 Moments |
| 10. Janelle and Diana's trips to the beach- It rained every time, and usually was so cold we brought jackets. One time we went we actually had sunshine... Janelle: "Diana! You're buringing up! Did you put sunscreen on? You're bright red!" Diana: "Janelle, I'm fine. Take off those red-tinted sunglasses." 9. The "Friends" party Gerard and I threw for the season premiere in 2001- I made a traditional English Trifle/ half Shepard's Pie, made a label to cover a Hershey's bar that read: Mocholate- even better than chocolate, made a label to cover a jar of pistachios that said: Fishstachios, and made "Hello My Name Is..." labels for all our party guests who came to watch the premiere. The names said: Gold Digger, Cradle Robbing Perv, Al "abrasive drunk", Lola, Dr. Gellar, and "Ross." Gerard and I performed the "routine" Monica and Ross did for Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve in a previous episoide. We also made a Gellar Cup (a troll doll nailed to a 2 by 4). 8. The Hanson concert at the Hershey Park Statium in PA- Good ole ma drove me, Desiree, and Emma to the concert. It was the best concert because I had my two best friends to share it with, decked out in Hanson t-shirts and proudly displaying huge signs that said: "Give me Hanson or Give Me Death", "All We Need is Hanson", and "The H-Files: Hanson is out there." 7. My first Newman meeting- It was the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I made new friends, met a lot of new boys, and finally got involved with a club on campus that I liked. I developed my spiritual life from believing in nothing to my Confirmation in 2004. I moved out of my parents house and into an apartment to be more involved in college life. Thanks to everyone who welcomed me those first few months when I was so scared and shy. 6. The Chrism Mass junior year- Who knew going to one event/mass could turn your life upside down forever? 5. Flying kites with Kasey- Dad, Gerard, and I would take our extremely overweight golden retriever to the park for some exercise and to fly a kite. First of all ,the only kite we could find at the store had Mickey House in a space suit. We were a little embarassed to be seen with this kite but my dad said no one would be able to tell it was Mickey Mouse since it would be high in the air. The kite wasn't in the air more than a minute before some kid walked up and said, "Hey look, Mickey!" Kasey was too fat to run very far so she's just lay in the field and as soon as the kite came to the ground she'd pounce and attack it, and if we didn't get to it soon she'd destroy it. We went through many kites. I've never seen a dog hate kites... 4. Driving with Christian to the Newman Center retreat at St. Mary's- I heard your first time on the retreat you gotta drive with wacky Christian, so I did. John Diego and Kevin were also in the car. The Lisa's were in the car behind us, and Jeff and Joe were in Jeff's Bronco leading the way. We were waving at each other the whole ride, doing typical Christian-like things. At a stop light Christian took a frisbee from his backseat and threw it out the window at the Bronco trying to get it to slip right into the open back. It bounced off the side and fell into the oncoming traffic's lane. Joe got out of Jeff's car and ran in front of it to get the frisbee. He drops it, goes back for it and almost gets hit by a car. Christian had boxes of raisins in his backseat also, so we threw raisins at Jeff and Lisa's cars. They threw them back, and Christian ate them off his windsheild. 3. Meeting my husband, Michael- I was supposed to go into Philly with my friend Jess but she called in the afternoon to say she was feeling sick and didn't want to go out. So, instead of staying home alone on a Friday night I decided to take another friend up on an offer to go to a house party in Washington Twp. The party was ok, but for a single girl always looking for potenital boyfriends, the party was lacking in eligible bachelors. We were all drinking and then around 1am this really cute guy showed up for the party. I immediately turned to my friend Rose who was also having no luck with men at this party and who was always going after "fresh meat" and I said to her, "I got dibbs on this one". Almost exactly 11 months later that cute boy asked me to marry him. 2. Our Wedding, September 15th, 2007- Hands down the best day of my life. Finally getting what I thought might never happen for me. You can never expect to find such happiness, you just have to pray that it will happen. And it did. See pictures from the wedding and reception by going to http://www.dianacurrie.myphotoalbum.com 1.
