Though the Stars May Fall

Though the stars may fall, and the wind may shriek
Though the air grow cold, and that serpent may seek
What troubles may come, what wiles may follow
I trust in thee, O God
For you are with me all the while
I do not fear that in the world
I do not fear that snake so curled
With poisoned fang and deadly lie
With cold scaled malice and honor decried
My strength is the strength of Him who died
His blood was spilt, His life was taken
So that I might live, and never be mistaken
By the blinders of the prince of the power of the air
Free from temptation, dead to sin
Crucified with Christ, He lives within
I can face the night, I can face tomorrow
I can face the days, I can face their sorrow
I'm not afraid, I'm not backing down
I live for Christ
The only deserv'ed of the crown.
