| Easter 2002 |
| We started the festivities at our neighbor's house, baking and decorating delicious Easter cookies. Here's Aubrietta with her fellow red-headed buddy, Hansel, nearly 4 years old. Aubrietta had a wonderful time rolling the dough and using cookie cutters, but most of all she enjoyed decorating wildly with sprinkles and colored sugar. I wonder if Hansel's mommy had any idea how much sugar and sprinkles Aubrietta would broadcast all over the kitchen floor! |
| On Saturday we went to visit friends in Gig Harbor where Aubrietta and 4 year old Olivia had a huge egg hunt. After the hunt they went on a safari in Olivia's motorized Jeep, with "sparky" the dog stalking them from behind. |
| The Easter bunny came on Sunday, bringing baskets for Aubrietta and Kelsey. Here's Kelsey knawing on her first teething biscuit, which she found in her basket. She also received baby food, a new spoon, and a lamb finger puppet. Aubrietta's basket contained chocolate eggs, bunnies, and chicks, marzipan farm animals, a bag of m&ms, crayons, a coloring book, and a finger puppet. |
| We went to aunt and uncle's house in Seattle for an egg hunt on Easter Sunday. Mommy claimed most of the candy from inside the eggs... If Aubrietta had the words, she'd be calling Weight Watchers to report Mommy. (So far Mommy lost 20 pounds, but after this weekend, she might have gained some back!) |
| And here's Kelsey, sweet as can be in her Easter bonnet and pretty pink dress. She is six and a half months old. |
