| Blowing out her birthday candles. I'd baked a little cake for her to blow candles on, and then had plenty of cupcakes for everyone, since I didn't know how much "spittle" would be involved in Aubrietta's attempt to blow her candles out! |

| A set of wooden blocks from Grandpa gets ripped open immediately. As other guests arrived I managed to put the presents out of sight until after the cake was served, otherwise it would have been a free-for-all. |
| A gift from Mommy & Daddy: a little shopping cart with toy foods. She fell in love with it at the toy store, but had no idea that I'd gotten it for her. Imagine her surprise and delight when she got it for her birthday. |

| On her actual birthday (a Wednesday this year), yet another cake and two candles to blow. We relit them over and over and over again. That's all she wanted to do. She refused to even taste her cake. Oh well, more for Mommy! |
