The Interview - Sean Freer (12/11/03) |
||||
Paul Scholes, Bryan Robson, Wynton Rufer. Most memorable Han River Harriers moment? It was a fine autumn afternoon in Paju... the Harriers ground force were battling SBFC in the final of the KICS cup... a battle one could compare to that fought on the same grounds a mere fifty years earlier.. um this may take a while.. scoring the winner within the last five minutes. What is your most memorable footballing moment as a spectator? Definitely the world cup last year. Went to three games and had an encounter with Ronaldo. Worst memory is watching Australia up by two goals against Iran with twenty minutes left...then conceding two goals to miss World Cup qualification on the away goal rule. Which Super Sunday Football League team do you hate the most?
Incheon.. after being robbed a clear
goal last season.
They didn't have the
sportsmanship to admit the ball went it. I've scored past every SSFL team (ex. Daejeon and English Spectrum as I've not played them before) However SBFC have the toughest defenders. I have grudging respect toward Wayne and Ben. Who is your dream woman/man? I don't fantasize about anyone in particular. But Katherine Zeta Jones looked pretty rootable in that last movie with George Clooney and I wouldn't mind giving some Korean pop sirens a good seeing to. Korean pop sirens a good seeing to. Likes/Dislikes/Pet-Peeves? I don't like people and referees who play football and don't know the rules. The main SSFL culprits are: subs coming on the field before the player has come off, refs not raising their hand for an indirect....i could go on. Not a fan of gravel fields. Hobbies? Football, Music, Drinking, travel, surfing, road trips. Best way to spend the evening after a Sunday football match. Being massaged by the girlfriend and then falling asleep after a good shag. Your favorite hangout/bar/club in Seoul? Don't really hang out as much as I used to. Usually I prefer Hongdae.. any where with cheap beers and no hip-hip music. Your plans for the future? -Study for a masters and either get back into journalism or another profession aside from teaching.
Thank you for the interview Sean. -David กก กก |
