Ratings
E - Exempt from classification
U - Universal, acceptable to be read by everyone regardless of age
12 - Only to be viewed by people over 12 years of age
PG / 12a - Parental Guidance is advised before letting minors read this material
PG-13 - Only teenagers of 13 years or older are advised to read this material, parental guidance is advised
R / 15 - Only older teenagers are advised to view this material
A / NC-17 / 18 - Only adults should view this material
XXX - Strictly adults only!
Dictionary
Angst - Subject matter will be very torturous to read
AU (Alternate Universe) - Outside the normal episode storylines, out of character - characterisation.
Challenge - Something I've responded to. A challenge from an outside source, fellow fan.
Character Death - Someone on the team will die if this warning is given.
Crossover - A mixture of A-Team FanFiction and another fandom.
Drama - Day to day events of the team, lax storylines, nothing too OTT. (over the top)
F/F - Lesbian relationships.
First Person / Point of View (POV) - Story narrated from a character's point of view.
H/C (Hurt / Comfort) - One of the characters is injured, and the love they receive as an aftermath.
Humour - Comical fiction.
M/M - Gay relationships.
Mary Sue - Somehow, I end up in the plot. Don't ask.
Point of View / First Person (POV) - Story narrated from a character's point of view.
PWP (Plot, What Plot?) - Just sex, no real story plot.
Rape - A rape scene / or attempted rape scene is committed in fic's with this warning.
Romance - Usually between leading characters, love scenes and plots.
Self-Harm - Self-mutilation and harming will be in a fic with this warning.
Sex - Just a general warning that a sex scene exists within a piece of fiction.
S/M (Submission / Dominance) - Bondage, whips, anything with a hiss of painful pleasure.
Slash - Same sex pairings in a fanfic story.
Suicide - Label for fic's with content of a suicidal nature.
Third Person - Story narrated from the writer's perspective.
Violence - Warning / Label to indicate violence.
