1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you
the Gospel which I preached unto you,
      which also
you have received, and wherein you stand;

by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you,

unless you have believed in vain.
                         For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
                              how that
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried,

and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

Romans 3:21-25 & 28
But now
the righteousness of God without the Law is manifested,
     being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets;

Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ

unto all and upon all them that believe.
                        For there is no difference:

for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood,

to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,

through the forbearance of God.

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the Law.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57
O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?
       The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the Law.

But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 1:10-13
He [Jesus Christ] was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.
       He came unto His own [the Jews], and His own received Him not.

But as many as received Him,

to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh,

nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:3-7 & 16-18
Jesus answered and said unto him, 'Verily, verily, I say unto you,

except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. '
  Nicodemus said unto him, 'How can a man be born when he is old?
       can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? '
  Jesus answered, 'Verily, verily, I say unto you,

except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Marvel not that I said unto you, you must be born again.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,

that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
           For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;
                but that the world through Him might be saved.

He that believes on Him is not condemned;
                      but he that believes not is condemned already,
                           because he had not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Ephesians 2:4-10
But
God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us,
        Even when we were dead in sins, had quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved),
              And
had raised us up together, and made us sit together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches

of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:

it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works,

which God had before ordained that we should walk in them.

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren,

be steadfast, unmovable,

always abounding in the work of the Lord,

forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Do you really understand Christian Salvation?  (Part 2)
Some of the Scripture about Christian Salvation
*** Note:  Back in 1979,I knew a middle-aged, lifetime, conservative Baptist who was a typist for a Christian curriculum development ministry, who that she was a born-again true Christian.  But when she was typing 1 John, she realized that she was not really saved.  I also have read about church elders who attended Billy Sunday meetings, realized that they were never spiritually born again since they were still selfish humanists instead of being disciples of Jesus Christ.  Please consider all of the following:
