This is the story of our precious daughter Hanna Mckinsley. We got pregnant in April with what we thought were just twins but i miscarried them on May 22,2004. I went on thinking that was it i wasnt pregnant anymore till i started showing alot and we tested and it said positive. I went to the doctor to confirm it. Turns out it was triplets and i was due January 13th 2005.But we had lost 2 babies who we named Joshua & Mckenna. I went along with the pregnancy for awhile showing more and getting excited. I was put on bedrest of a grade 1 placental abruption they said everything would be fine as long as I stayed in bed and didnt do any strenous activity. So I was fine with that. Went on for a couple of weeks blood pressure was normal, babys heart beat was fine. We even got to see her on ultrasound was so beautifal to see her little face with daddys nose hehe.We were so excited to finally be having a baby after previous miscarriages we thought finally our miracle baby.We had picked out the name Hanna Mckinsley Landress when we found out it was a girl on ultrasound. But sadly on November 7th it all came crashing down... went in to the hospital at like 1;30 am saturday well technically sunday. I was bleeding and had that horrible feeling. So they put the fetal monitor on and nothing so they decided to do an ultrasound and she wasnt moving and they couldnt see a heartbeat. So they decided to induce me i labor and because how small she was and my blood pressure was still ok they decided to just let me do it vaginally instead of doing a c-section.They broke my water to it was a greenish color which ment she basically had a bowel movement most likely from being in distress . They are figuring she lost oxygen from placenta abruption (she had become unattached from my uterus) but they are going to do an autopsy. She was 1 lb 9oz and 13 inches long.I was 30 weeks and 3 days when I lost her. I got to hold her for almost 2 hours so atleast that was nice. We had her cremated and her memorial was on November 14th.we went to the ocean and had a candles light and i said a poem i wrote for her and said some other things then we put out her ashes and told she was finally free nd then it started pouring rain but i stayed there for a bit longer wtih my friend Darnell and i just sat on the shore crying and talking to her for awhile and then we went down the street and bought a couple of roses and put those in the ocean i put two in the water then toook it out and took them home and im going to dry them out and put them in her memory box.Im going to be working on a shadow box with memories of her in it so hopefully that will help me accept her death and help me grieve. Rest in Peace Hanna Mckinsley Landress November 7th,2004
