Hannah's Tiny Face

Looking at pictures of little Hannah Grace,
Oh such a lovely, tiny little face.
So peaceful, at rest, yes, you'd think she was sleeping.
Had to keep looking, thought I saw her peeking.
She was chosen by God to help create his plan
Haven't quite figured it out, but know someday we can.
An angel with wings, she soars up above
Sprinkling Angel Dust down on all she loves.
I think all my days, the plants, birds, and trees
Feel her presence all around as she is very free.
Free of life's harms in this crazy world.
Perhaps she is a wise, wonderful girl!
God's Precious Gift

A beautiful white rose opened today
Perfection of God's growth in every way.
A delicate butterfly of black and gold
Part of a picture yet to be told.
A wave so blue rolling into the shore
A part of my mind, forevermore.
The shapes of the clouds forming up in the sky
They could be anything,
Your imagination only knows why.
The smile of a child's happy face
So very precious, should be wrapped in lace.
A perfect little girl born today
Will never know why she was taken away.
Perhaps all the beautiful things that we see
Are Hannah Grace's way of letting life be
For an Angel so sweet watching over us
Just sit very still, you can feel her gentle touch.
It may be the wind blowing ever so mild
But I know in my heart she is always near
For she knows the love felt and how much we care.
A little life taken so quickly by God
I know there's a reason, just so very odd
No matter how hard I paray everyday
She's with the Lord Jesus, but seems stolen away.
Everything planned by her anxious family
Still sits there waiting, waiting patiently
Her tiny clothes, she will never get to wear,
But she is with God, where no one will care.
Her tidy room so cozy with toys
I wonder who she plays with, both girls and boys?
I hear and believe it is such a beautiful place
Yes, with the Lord Jesus, Yes, our little "Hannah Grace".
For in his arms forevermore she will be
A beautiful Princess he created carefully
But somewhere, somehow, she's waiting to see
And to be held once again by her entire family.
Yes, little Hannah Grace, you are missed so very much
But someday when it is time,
We shall share that special touch.
Hannah's Poems
