Links concerning the subject of sexual violence, at work and in general:
- Women's emergency phones:
- Organisations "Notruf e.V." and "Zerrspiegel e.V." (autonomous women's projects)
- National organisation of autonomouswomen's emergency phones Remark: My own experience with this group were
not very positive - to be explicit: I just didn't receive any reply from them
to my e-mail when I tried to discuss with them
in which ways harassed women in a situation similar to my own one (former one)
could be helped juridically or legally.
When I sent them a second slightly indignated mail, I got a reply, however, not
any one which answered my question, or which dealt with it at all.
Concerning the reasons, I can only speculate: Maybe they just considered
the violation of my rights (or other women's rights, in a similar situation)
as "not severe enough" to deal with it (those who listen to too many terrible
reports necessarily runs the risk of becoming a bit insensitive, also to
protect themselves).
Since there are not so many women's emergency phones, and since I hope they
are friendlier to women in an "acute emergency situation", I kept the link.

Please be careful in online fora: In some of them women who come out as
feminists are verbally attacked and insulted in a very brutal way, in some of
them survivors of sexual violence can hardly expect mature reactions concerning
this issue nor an atmosphere for a reasonable discussion.
Don't be misled by the forum's name and take a bit of time to check the
forum's atmosphere before you post any contribution.
This is particularly true if an online forum is directly accessible, without
any operator being involved. - I myself use to allow almost any contribution,
except those which are severely offensive, discriminating or insulting.
(Sorry, this is not the exact translation, but the German text is lengthy and
old.)
