| oh em geeeee! warped... was... amazing. the only band i missed was Rufio :o( and i was sad. (but i got one of their shirts.) and i got to hear a bit of Yellowcard in line. we got there a bit late, cuz um. casey calls me at like 8:30 in the morning and he's like "um, we can't find my brother. and the car's gone." they finally show up an hour later and it turns out he was getting an oil change. we weren't on the road til quarter after ten... but with derrick's driving we were in toronto in an hour. barrie in two. me and casey met up with vicky, simon and dan after we got there and then we ate, and shortly before that we saw ashley and her brother. sat down and caught Matchbook Romance. (got one of their shirts, too.) after them we went and saw Alexisonfire.. some guy in the crowd right beside me just collapsed and everyone around him was like, trying to hold him up. and then he stood, finally. i think he had one too many hits or something. of drugs! there were so many clouds of weed rising from like every crowd, there wasn't a place you could go without getting a whiff. these clouds were mixed with clouds of dust/dirt kicked up from pits and dancers and such. the dust was really bad during coheed, i coughed a bunch. it got all over my shoes and the bottom of my pants. oh yeah, after alexis we saw some Crowned King. so good! and then it was Coheed(got one of their shirts), a bit of Thursday, and then Fallout Boy (and one of theirs too. oh, and their new EP... which the BASSIST signed. sigh. he's dreeeamy.) lol which reminds me, i got my sweater signed by two guys from CK.. the lead singer and jonny biggs (he plays the trombone... tehee, tromboner!) sigh. what a good day. we didn't mosh because in every pit there were so many big guys. we woulda gotten killed... man i'm tired. i like how that was all one paragraph. newsflash!: warped was fun. i need to go clean my room. < |
