Milan is the Italy's economic engine room, home to Italy's stock market and business centers. This sophisticated & stylish city  is also the world's design capital and rivals Paris as a leading fashion center. Shopping here is of almost a religious significance, while food is another one of Milan's joys. Most of Milan's  attractions are concentrated in the city center, between the duomo (cathedral)and the Castello Sforzesco. With the city's efficient underground railway, [Metropolitana Milanesa (MM)] visitors are able to explore this  fascinating renaissance city easily & at their own pace :)

The Piazza del Duomo dominates Milan's central square & took  more than 500 years to build (1386 - 1887). It is Italy's largest & most intricate example of Gothic architecture, and is also the 4th largest chuch in the world.
Castello Sforzesco is renaissance Milan in all its glory. It was constructed by Francesco Sforza in 1450 & restored at the turn of this century. It now houses many museums and collections
