Aladdin

Aladdin is a street rat who makes his way through life by stealing. However, he has a great heart and still helps those less fortunate around him. Aladdin lives with his monkey, Abu, and dreams of someday living in the palace.

Jasmine is the beautiful princess of Agrabah, and the daughter of the Sultan. She hates being a princess because of the enclosed walls surrounding her, and her only friend is her pet tiger, Rajah.

Genie

the Genie has been locked within his lamp for thousands of years, deep within the Cave of Wonders. He is an amazing genie who can grant the person who rubs his lamp three wishes, but Genie's personal wish is to be free.

Abu is a small monkey. He is extremely gifted at stealing without being noticed, and thats great to have since he lives on the streets with his best human buddy, Aladdin.

Carpet

Carpet is a gorgeous purple rug who has lived in the Cave of Wonders his whole life, along with mountains of gold. He definitely knows his way around the cave, including the whereabouts of the magical lamp.

Iago... the small bird with the huge mouth. Iago is Jafar's "sidekick", so to speak. He has to go around acting as though he can't talk, when actually he can. He cannot stand the crackers that the Sultan feeds him.

Jafar

Jafar is the Sultan's Advisor, a very important position within the palace. He has a bird sidekick named Iago. Jafar dreams of being Sultan (by marrying Princess Jasmine), and sometimes he uses his position at the palace to take advantage of the Sultan.

the Sultan is the ruler of Agrabah. He is a stout old man, and the father of the lovely Princess Jasmin. the Sultan's advisor is Jafar, and Jafar's bird, Iago, is a source of entertainment for him (the Sultan).

Rajah

Rajah is a gorgous tiger. He lives at the palace with Princess Jasmine. She is the only person that he respects. Rajah will act rude and inappropriate towards any of the men who come to ask for Jasmine's hand in marriage.

the Guards protect all of Agrabah, but mostly the palace. They are quite dopey at times, and they really dislike Aladdin and Abu because they steal food from merchants to keep themselves alive.
