Each panel is labeled 1, 2 or 3 based on which plane (1 - front, 2 - middle or 3 - back) they will be placed.
Notice that because of the way perspective works, even though all planes are obviously the same height, the letters in the front must be made much smaller so as to appear the correct size.
Elements on the back row on plane 3 are 12 feet tall. Elements on the first row, plane 1, are 9 3/4 feet tall and must be propped up so as to line up with the back row.
What we plan now is making a sturdy frame and using wires from the bottom to the top across which we will place the nylon segments of each letter.
