The Wyken Pippin in the news
by Alan Harris

A Sporting Coventry daredevil did a bungee jump wearing just a G-String and bunny ears to honour a charity bet.
Paul Rose planned to wear a bunny outfit for the plunge but promised to strip down to his near bare essentials if supporters upped their sponsorship from 400 to 500
And the postal worker fulfilled his pledge after friends raised 570 to see him play the fool at The Wyken Pippin pub in Ansty Road. Paul 30 of Cheveral Avenue Radford will hand the cash raised from the stunt to mental health charity MIND.
The postal delivery office manager said that his bungee jump on Monday night raised both laughs and complaints.
He said "It all went well, although it was a tad cold up on the platform, People told me off for indecently exposing myself in front of children but I pointed out that it was for charity and that I had covered up my bare essentials. Most people were fine though."
Paul was among over 20 bungee jumpers who took part in the event.
