Short trip to the mountains....
We decided to celebrate our first day as a wedded couple by having a picnic somewhere outside of Modesto.  So, we consider it as a mini-honeymoon event.  After looking at several choices, we chose Tilden Park in Berkeley as it seems to be an interesting park in the mountains.

After buying our Togo sandwhiches (which were so yummy esp when you're hungry), we then drove for nearly 2 hours to the direction of San Francisco. As we got closer to the Park, I noticed that the hills were greener than the ones in Central Valley, it even actually reminded me of Malaysia.

The first sign that we saw in Tilden Park was the Steam Engines.  So, like big kids that we are, we stopped to try out the rides.
It was about a 15 minutes ride on a miniature steam engine, and it went around the forest with some glimpses of a view of distant valleys which was quite breathtaking.  The train also went into a tunnel where one has to be careful and not put one's hand too far out, just in case we have to stop the train to find it in the tunnel.  ha ha!!....  Well, I think that's funny.

I took a shot of Kev when we're in the train.
