| Imam Basem then went out of the room to give us a gift from the Islamic Centre. It was a deligthful dessert of pistachio nuts covered in sweet pastry. They said it was from Syria and quite difficult to get, so we were quite lucky. We shared the Arabic Sweets (as it was written on the box) with everyone. Later we took pictures with the Malaysians that were kind enough to be part of our ceremony. Some of them had never even met us!! |
