The plant has its own, world-class seaport that can handle 40,000 metric tons per shipment. The port has a total length of 500 meters and draft of 12 meters. On the port are the packing facilities, which include three rotary packers (each with a capacity of 3,000 forty-kilogram bags per hour) aided by automatic bag placers and automotive truck loaders; and facilities for bulk-loading 1.0 metric-ton bags; facilities for loading ocean-going vessels. For bulk-cement ships, the port uses a mechanical loading system. |
