ASTHMA was rather formed in 2000/2001 in Tangier city when once Said Adali and Hanine Hamzioui met at the Higher International Tourism Institute as students. |
|
|
|
Involved in a similar Rock music style, Hanine has always been a fan of Grunge Rock initiating by Nirvana and Silverchair and ?Said? addicted into Heavy Rhythms like Slayer, Metallica and Dismember. |
|
|
|
Hanine gave a little push to Said while this later was willing to learn Guitar Techniques to suit Metal sounds. Hanine himself had a push from the great Mounir BOUCHAIBI from Rabat city, a real Metal master. Now he is in OLD SCHOOL band. |

|
Said hence followed a slow progression towards Metal Riffs and then has become a Metal Riffer which is highly respected. |

|
Hanine has always been into Grungy rhythms and psychedelic solos, still is he with some metal trends and alternative vocals. |

|
Hanine Started to learn Acoustic classic guitar since 1997 and jumped to 12 strings Folk guitar that helped him perform his techniques. Said started directly with a rosewood old 60?s electric guitar since 2000. |
|

|
Not enough time to say they are masters but their influences and limitation to a specific sound helped them gain a great performance. |
|
|
|
As you can discover in their picturesque sound, there is a mixture of Grunge, Metal, Blues and Alternative. |
|
|
|
The band was to be called Strangels, Hell Angels, Hara-Kiri or Anaemia, but at last the two consented on ASTHMA as they both are victims of air pollution and dust mites Expansion, otherwise to refer to the tight social and financial suffering in Casablanca city and in Morocco in general. |

Hanine & Said have been jamming around together those last times to perform their first Demo which has great promises. |
|
|
|
With the new Rock music trend in Morocco, ASTHMA is to be become a reference for next head bangers. |

|
From school mates to band members, Hanine & Said are the founders of ASTHMA, thus, this was based on particular common skills and characteristics. |

|
|
Crappy members like those ones seen on the Boulevard Of Young Musicians are no way to figure out with this band. |

|
|
Hanine has also been performing with YOUNES (Lead Guitarist) and Abdellah HASSAK (Bassist) as the STRANGELS band. |

|
Younes lastly moved to another unknown band wherewith he is willing to show off his techniques, but still insists on performing with ASTHMA in some tracks. ABDELLAH is a polyvalent bassist still willing to develop and improve his stylish manners. He plays in two bands,now ! Asthma and a Gnawi Band called SAGA! |

Now Said Adali is resting and is no more a member of the band! He decided to perform his skills and acquire new gear to be ready spiritually and physically to play music as an ASTHMA member!
Still he contributes in compositions and this is kindda Wonderful! See him now playing with OLD SCHOOL his new Band that brings the shit of Metal to Morocco |

Asthma Fut l'id�e d'un projet Metal/Grunge initi� par Said.A et Hanine. H, le debut de l'ann�e 2004.
Les deux asthmatiques et souffrant de la pollution � Casablanca, la fameuse capitale �conomique du MAroc.
Le projet �tait cens� melanger du rythmes Death Metal et Grunge. le projet commen�a adequatement jusqu'� la decision brusque et soudaine de Said . A qui montra le refus da la pression psychiquee et materielle caus�e par la situation actuelle terne � Casablanca. Non pas SPILT� mais repartis. H.Hanine (Vocaliste / Guitariste) se lance toujours dans le Projet ASTHMA avec le bassiste (Abdellah HAssak et le fameux batteur Abdeltif Mosslim) tous de Casa et specialement habitant la meme circonscription administrative. Des jeunes musiciens qui se connaissent depuis tres longtemps et c la musique Rock qui les a reli�s.
Said Adali est actuellement dans son nouveau projet OLD SCHOOL (Metal) pour la reincarnation du Metal au Maroc.
Avec une tendance Grunge H.Haneen est impliqu� dans ASTHMA pour la reincarnation du Grunge et du Rock Alternatif simplement Dit. Donc necessit� d'un Groupe TRIO pour respecter la norme GRUNGE. C'etait la meditation des deux fondateurs de ASTHMA. telle sera la norme. ASthma est OLd school seront bel et bien des groupes qui feront fusion pour des projets assez dechirant et pour etaler la dite fusion des deux styles : Metal + Grunge.
h.Hanine est n� � Casablanca en 1981.
Abdellah.H est n� � Casablanca en 1984.
Abdeltif Mosslim est n� en 1977.
Abdeltif Le batteur a frequent� la scene marocaine depuis son debut et a jou� avec plusieurs groupes ce qui lui donne une
experience assez enrichissante pour le groupe. Et son experience en tant que batteur de Metal et de Fusion lui confere une aptitude pour gerer le rythme du groupe. Influenc� actuellement par le batteur de MESHUGAH.
Abdellah. H Bassiste mediocrement experiment� mais assez capable d'assurer la tendance du rythme voulu. Assez influenc� par les fusions des styles et le son precis. De petite taille mais de grande ingeniosit�.
H.Hanine, Vocaliste / Guitariste influenc� par Le son grunge, la violence Metal et le psychedelique.
Influenc� par: Nirvana, Silverchair, Jimi Hendrix, Bush, Pearl JAm, everlast, Pantera...etc.
