Education serves as a key to the development of an area. Pakistan is one of the countries in the world, which invest 2.5% to 3% of the G.N.P on education sector. An attempt has been made to highlight the district education containing the number of educational institutions, students, teachers as well as rural/urban, level wise and sex wise literacy rate. Generally there are two sectors, which are providing education in this area. These are (a) public sector and (b) private sector. Public sector or government sector provides school and college level education. The detail about this sector is given in the table given below:

Besides this, two higher secondary schools each one for male and one for female while three graduate colleges two for male as against one for female also exist.
On the other hand private sector too, is plying an important role in the development of education in this region.

The other institutions that impart education in this region are religious i.e. Dinee Madrassas. The foremost institute for religious education is the mosque related to every village and Mohallah but there are some Madrassas of the Sunnis and Imambargah of the Shias, which impart the religious education to its concerned masses. The total number of these religious bodies i.e. Madrassas and Imambargah in this area are 46 and 19 respectively.
