Booyakasha!
About a year ago I was in need of a new frame. After completly destroying a GT Performer (aka shit made out of tubing), I was looking for something that was about an inch longer in front and an inch shorter in the back, and something built to withstand some heavey abuse. Another major concern was the lack of money that is found lying on sidewalks so lets just say I was on a budget, and at $359 Canadian the Kho-1 is one hell of a deal. Now lets get to the specs:
               Top tube: 20.5"
               Top tube O.D.: 1.5"
               Down tube O.D.: 1.75"
               Chainstay length: 14.5"
               Seat tube: 1"
               Headtube angle: 74.5
Dropouts: 6mm thick laser cut 14mm
               Weight: 7lbs 4oz.

Now on to the actual review. First off I would like to tell all the kids who keep ripping on wethepeople and other Taiwan made frames to shut the annoying little spaces between your lips cuz I dont want to hear it. If you ask me wethepeople is doing one hell of a job bringing quality products that dont cost more than your rent. OK. One look at this frames perfect welds should shut most of the proud americans up. Also a look at the unique double wishbone design can leave you with a one word explanation: STIFF. This frame has exceptional geometry and is very easy to whip around. I wouldnt advise running anything over 1.95" for tires if you want a nice and tight setup. I mainly ride street....or if your not from Wallaceburg, you would call it 3 ledges, a bank, a rail, and a wallride, but i still ride them almost everyday. I also ride park and a little dirt and this is probly one of the most versitile frames out there. It will hold up to lots of street abuse, but i would trim the right dropout down because if you dont you can end up with an un-earthly warp real quik. For ramps this frame is perfect! I'm about 6'2" and the 20.5" tt doesnt get in the way to often. And yes it manuals like a dream...unless your manuals are always a nightmare. As far as dents I only have one on the left chainstay and that was from a crank arm that flexed when I threw my bike way to far.

All in all this is reasonably good frame and well worth the money. And as you can see I was also one of the idiots that fell in love with the hardcore raw/clearcoat paint, and its all good unless you scratch your bike. But some ppl might enjoy watching rust spread underneith the paint. This doesnt effect the performance at all but it dont look pretty and it scares some stupid ppl. Buy the 2002 model cuz its been improved quite a bit and they took almost a pound off her. I give this frame a 7/10 and my review a 2/13 cuz i talk to much and I should be riding instead of wasting your time. -B
