Spain trip - Malaga &
Southern Spain on the Mediterranean Coast
(May 23 to May 27, 2002)
Just
when the days in London were becoming exceedingly cold and gloomy, we decided
to break the shackles and venture out for some
Sun and Sand in lovely Spain!! It started as usual with the easyjet scour for
cheap flights, before the gang
was right out there in the middle!! Spain...A lovely place with easy going friendly
people, and fantastic beaches and great weather! (L-R Gang: Amieya, Joshi, Saroj
& Rahul).
It was a long first nite in Malaga. We somehow managed to find the Hostel after a long search! The morning breakfast never looked so refreshing!!
Our Pushpak-viman that we rented for the trip: One that was never afraid to rock n roll on the wrong side of the road to reach for our memorable friend- Chandan Singh and his lovely Sai Restaurant! Check out this qt of Saurabh all busy in work!
Pet pooja ke baad...let's get right to the point?! Out here basking on the lovely beaches!!? C'mon you lazy bones...get into the water!! Once you are in it, it's a lot more fun!
The lovely AquaPark : The eye catcher was of course the kamikaazee; a 100 m thriller! And a host of other slides. The cousins together in the park.
The clear waters and the cool blue skies epitomise the lovely Mediterranen region. Check out Saroj, Joshi, Rahul, myself, Saroj & Saurabh enjoying its various flavours!
The source of Saroj's soliloquy: The Rock of Gibralter!! (Wish I could attach a sound file here from his lovely commentary!!)
On the rocks: Saurabh cooling down, and Rahul spreading his limits!
Ferrari: The cool machine that served the inspiration for our GoKarting later during the day!! Wish it was not merely to be posed with! On the Marina Boulevard with the lovely yatches).
Out here did you say I defied gravity?? Who thought that so would Joshi!
The cherry on the cake:The traditional Spanish Bull Fighting! The arena of the matadors. Various shots during the fight! (A depressing sight for some!)
