Kay - this has to be really quick before they kick me off the computer here at the international center - I am doing okay. I went to visit the Kumamoto grandparents and the Kanazawa grandparents for obon. It is a time to commemorate the dead - but also to celebrate the living. Somehow I found it difficult initially to do the latter with so many funerals and people talking about dying. I wonder what that beam of hope that enables people to die gracefully - I:m thinking it is the family and the love within it - but I need to understand it more substantially and less conceptually..
So - I:ll be back tomorrow to update the journal and other stuff if they give me more time. Ciao then.
