Went to Church today. It was pretty good. Morise ajo gave the sermon - talked about how we need to pick up and inherit where True Parents brought us - kind of like - take initiative. The best parts oddly came from the announcement. Appa talked about the world conference that he went to in Pantanal. Abonim talked 18 hours straight at times to the members. They're making the blue print for God's Kingdom on earth. Quite exciting if you ask me. He's really desperate, working as if 1 day were equivalent to 1000 years. Gotta pick up the pace of my life to to even start to keep up. Lei gave a tearful testimony of her time in Korea,"It's like drugs, once you have it, you never want to leave it." Reminds me of my old days - how the community was entoxicated with love and siblinghood. Gotta keep her head on straight though - although she seems to be doing pretty well
Later we went to see the circus parade. It was a stroll down memory lane. The pretty horses, the flashy costumes, the baking sun and the wonderful aroma of horse manure - reminded me of when I was young - going to the circus parade with Lei, Aki, Toe, Goo, Greg ajo, Jean ajuma and mom and dad. It was odd though - Eikoku and I saw interesting things that I never noticed before, like the haolie Native American Chiefs, the haolie Egyptian princesses, the black Medival princesses...It's a paradox that one has to be educated about how race is a factor to become unracist - is it true? Somehow the sharing of culture was not as benign as it used to seem. Call it a loss of innocence.
Later me and Goo went to get two movies - D and D and Men of Honor. Should have gotten Snatch instead of D and D - it was stupid - but it I guess was nice for Goo to see the characters of his games in animation. Men of Honor - I don't know if I liked it or not - Cuba Gooding seems to determined to be real - but you know what they say of reality - it is what you make of it - no limits.
Anyway - I'm back in Madison - gotta finish this paper of mine. I miss Goo and Lei already.
Ciao then - Hanako
Ciao for now.
