I'm writing this quick entry before I got off to work. It thought I'd unload some of the things floating around in my mind.

This paper that I'm doing for history 699 is really good for me. It's making me dig up things that I haven't thought of in a while. What is means to be a second G - what is the legacy of our parents, what our responsibilities are and have been defined as. Its kind of tought, bitter-sweet going through this stuff. Makes me realize how much I have cut out for me.

Dan's off to Michigan, Ann Arbor to attend a conference with his research - sounds impressive. I'm going back to Milwaukee today - to visit Lei - she's back from Korea.

Anyway, gotta run - the clock is ticking and I've got to make some money. I wish employment weren't so hard to come by.

By the way - Jin in coming in next week so we can go down and visit the vets. I really like them - but as always, I'm not much of a social person - so having Jin and Dan, maybe Patty there, will help ease my tight lips.
