welcome to the info section. this section is to tell you more about this site, and our reasons for thinking that tablets are cheating.
About the Site:
this site is a gathering for people who think tabletting is cheating,
people who are sick of their mouses,
or people who have lost confidence in their drawings.
it is also a place for you to show off your drawings,like how I have done in the Index page. if you meet the qaulifications for any of the above listed,please join. its free of course. I want YOU. not your MONEY. *grumbles* filthy money,...though I do want that Chobits DVD.....
Why Tablets Are Unfair & EVIL:
we have a very good and simple reason for our beliefs on the Tablet.
now, I completley understand that anything thats drawn on a BBS board on the computer can be considered an Oekaki,but originally, everyone had mouses, or so I think. Oekaking is all about testing your skill and imagination on the computer, seeing how well you can do it on the computer, and sharing it with others and commenting what you think. above all else, its about having fun. but Tablets, they allow people to have much more ability. it almost 99.9% of the time improves your drawings. but this is not fair. almost anyone can draw better with a tablet. but as we all know, * eyes tablet-wanters* tablets are almost always expensive. tablets also are like giving a handicap to those who have them, so they are much more ahead than those using a mouse in the race. let me think of an example......its like using a gameshark on a videogame. it still allows a challenge, but the challenge is much much lessened because your well, using a freakin gameshark!!! not a good example, but yeah. so I beleive tablets are cheating. or maybe this is all a cover up to make the fact that some of us are jealous of the tablet users and some of us dream of running over our mouses with cars we dont have. who knows?
