Luke Skywalker was the son of Anakin Skywalker. Luke was born on Tatoonie and lived there with his aunt and uncle, Owen and Beru Lars, were killed by Imperial troops. He then followed Ben Kenobi to Mos Eisley where they met a pilot, Han Solo, who would take them to Alderann. They soon found out that Alderann was detroyed and ended up in the tractor beam of the Death Star. This was were he rescued Liea Organa and Ben Kenobi was killed. Luke then joined the Rebel Allience and destroyed the first Death Star at the Battle of Yavin.
Luke soon went to visit Yoda on Dagobah where he was taught the ways of the force. But he soon raced to leave and came face to face with Darth Vader. At the end of thier duel Luke was told by Vader that he was his father (Luke also lost his hand in the battle). Luke soon confirmed this and also found out that Leia was his sister from Ben. A few months later Luke faced Vader and the Emporer aboard the second Death Star. Luke suceeded in turning his father back to the good side but it was too late and Vader died soon after.
