Leia Organa is a beautiful young princess and senator from the planet of Alderrann. She grew up under the care of her foster father Bail Organa, who was the king of Alderrann. He was killed when Alderrann was destroyed by the First Death Star. At the time of Alderrann's destruction, Leia was watching from the skies above as Grand Moff Tarkin pulled the trigger. Soon after, she was rescued by two young men, named Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. The three managed to escape the Death Star together in the Millennium Falcon. From here on out, she was with the Rebellion full time.
After the destuction of the Death Star at Yavin IV, Leia stayed with the Rebel Allience. She was on the Hoth Base at the time it was attacked. She once again escaped with Han Solo in the Millennium Falcon. This led to Bespin, where she would first meet Lando Calrissian and she woul discover her feeling for Han. But when Vader captured them, Han was put into carbonite and given to Boba Fett. This crushed Leia.
She went with Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca to Tatoonie to rescue Han from Jabba the Hutt. After she unfroze Han, she was captured by Jabba and held as his slave. She eventually killed Jabba by choking him with the chain she was attached to. Leia then went with Han and Luke to the forest moon of Endor. There she learned that Luke Skywalker was her brother and her real father was Darth Vader. Leia helped to destroy the shield generator so that the allience could destroy the second Deatn Star.
Leia would end up marrying Han, becoming a jedi and she would become President of the New Republic.
