| Caring For Your Pregnant Hamster |
| Chances are that if you have a male and a female hamster living together, you might one day discover your female is pregnant. It wont be obvious at first but, if you observe closely, youll probaly notice some behavioral changes in her. She may be a bit nervous. She will be hoarding food and collecting nesting material in an isolated area. A pregenant hamster will need some extra attention and care. Make sure you provide her with an isolated area. Supply her with soft nesting material. Treat her gently, and dont disturb her. Once her babies are born, never disturb the mother or her litter. A hamsters litter can range from 2-15 hamster cubs.
