| This is Party. I found her in a pet store and instantly became mesmarised. I have never seen anything like her. She is heavily mottled and the spot are light, maybe platinum? Her spots are either normal or BEA but we cant tell for sure without a test breeding. However, she's a ... well, she's not nice. No takers. Is she destined to remain a mystery, or how do we tell?? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is my mystery man. I found him at our local PetSmart amongst many hybrids. He is obviously a dilute platinum, but I cant tell what color lies beneath. It is a very light grey, NOT OPAL, that I have not seen before. It is very pretty, and it actually resembles the moscow-blue combination found on Linda's Site. I am working with him as he is terrified from being at the store. Any time I or any hamster near him, he freaks and starts squeaking. After working with him, I will test breed him to find out! | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is my mystery boy. I found him from an ad in the paper of a disgruntled, overrun hamster owner. The litters contained normals, normal mottleds, this color, and one red eyed argente. No blacks at all but this baby must have black genes as his belly is self colored. The characteristic white chest helps too. THIS BABY IS NOT A NORMAL or a MOSCOW!! He looks like a really diluted chocolate. When he gets older, I'll put him with Onyx to test for the black gene. Any Ideas?? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
