We also have playdates in members homes, park days when the weather is nice, go to the Polar Palace for a fun day each month in addition to the fun activities below!
January 2008 -- We also went to Ultimate Playzone for the first time and loved it! The Kids Day Out was touring the Westminster Treat Shop. For our MOMS Night Out, a member hosted in her home and everyone brought their favorite appetizer and the recipe for sharing.
February 2008 -- One of our members hosted MOMS Night Out and cooked us all a wonderful meal because she loves cooking! For our Kids Day Out, we went to Pet Smart for a tour and then out to lunch together.
March 2008 -- Our Kids Day Out toured the Hampstead Police Station! A member hosted an Easter Egg Hunt at her home. Our MOMS Night Out was going to get pedicures/manicures and lunch at a cute downtown restaurant. We also had a monthly speaker at our meeting to talk to everyone about Carroll County's education consulting program. We raised a lot of money by selling fruit and flower bulbs for our service project this month!
April 2008 -- We played at a local farm's playground, met up at a local bouncy place for fun, we had a Trikes for Tikes for the March of Dimes for the whole family one Saturday and a nice park day!
May 2008 -- We had a few park days one at a local pond to feed the ducks, we had a Hampstead Day meeting and playdate, we had a MNO bowling, we had more playdates at members' homes and a fun zoo trip planned.
We will have a tent set up on Main Street for Hampstead Day - last Saturday in May - and we hope to have more members to sign up!
June 2008 -- We had our annual family picnic at the president's home, we had a park day, a water fun playdate at a member's home, a trip to a local produce picking farm, we had a swim day at a local pool and a MNO at a members' home bringing fun drinks and appetizers to share.
July 2008 -- We've had a park day with a fun July 4th craft, we have two water fun playdates scheduled at members' homes, we have a movie schedule at the local library, we have a family trip planned to the rodeo, we have a fun MNO planned at a member's home to make handmade jewelry with beautiful gems and stones and another park day scheduled.
