How it works?
Each week a question, which can be as simple as a multiple choice, or an open-ended question, will be posted on our site. Submit your answer to us in the form provided, together with your name/nick and email address. The name/nick will be what appears on our site together with the score you have accummulated so far. Your name/nick and email address are required to uniquely identify you from other visitors. You are only allowed to answer once to each individual question posted.

Therefore, you will have to stick to one name/nick and email address. Your very first submission is important as we will keep track of the name/nick and email address submitted.

For example, if you submitted an answer with your name/nick as 'Jay' and email address as '[email protected]', this will be recorded in our system. If you submitted the answer for another question at a later date, we will look into our record to find someone called 'Jay' and with the email address '[email protected]' and add the score to that person. Anyone with a score with us will retain his/her name/nick such that no one else is allowed to use that on our site.

What kind of questions will be asked?
It can be a question regarding hamster, identify the picture provided, any information about us and our site etc etc..

How does the point system works?
The points in Hammies Corner is given the term "HamPoints" or "HP" for short. (Don't mistaken that as health points! lol). The HP for each question is allocated according to it's difficulty (in our opinion) or some other factors. Within that week itself, another bonus question will be added and will last only for 24 hours. In other words, you will have to try catching the bonus question in order to score more marks.

Why hasn't my score been updated?
All scores will be updated at the end of the week. This is to ensure that no one knows the exact answer right till the official answer is out. If your score still hasn't been updated thereafter, it'd either due to problems with our hosting company, or problems arising from our site. Such situations are rare, so don't worry.

I got the answer correct. Why didn't I get the full points allocated to that question?
Certain questions, such as multiple choice questions, will have its full marks awarded to the correct answer. While other questions, for example "What is the....", will have a maximum score allocated to it. Only the best or most complete answers will be awarded the full points. Incomplete answers will be awarded some points though. As for incorrect answers, don't even think about it :)

How do I know if my answer is correct?
We'll be posting the correct answer together with the next question. We'll also be posting those questions submitted that we deemed are good answers to share with everyone. And we might even put them up permanently on related sections on our site!
