Diablo II: LoD Drop Calculator
by Hammerman

Version 1.04

INTRO
-----

Thank you for downloading my calculator! If you find a bug,
missing item/monster, have an idea, or just want to say your
opinion, feel free to contact me (see below).
But now, enjoy and read on!

THE CALCULATOR
--------------

The program will give you a list of all the items & monsters in
the game, that you can get drop information about.

If you select a monster, you can choose in what difficulty the
monsters drop rates will be given, and what items it can drop.

If you select an item, the calculator will search for monsters who
can drop the selected item and give you the drop chances for it.

The same thing goes for unique items, if you select a monster it
will give you list of all the unique items a monster can drop, and
you can also search for what monsters can drop the specific unique
item. You can also enter your magic find %, and see how it effects
your chances.

When you search for set items, you must first select the set wich
the particular set item belongs to. If you do not like this format,
please tell me so. I did this so the list of set items wouldn't get
to long (this does not matter when you are searching for what set
items a monster can drop).

You can now also enter your magic find %, and see how much it is
after the diminishing return formula (more on diminishing return
formula below). The number in the magic find box will be applied
when searching for set/unique items.

There is a new function in version 1.03c, wich allows you to change
the separator between the item names and their drop chances. Default
is "=", but you can change it to the way it was before, just space.
First you must search for your desired item/monster, and then click
the "Change item separator" button. If you dislike this new feature,
please say so.

- Notes on monsters / drops
***************************

Duriel >	Since Duriel always drops a Town Portal Scroll, I
didn't give info on that. But the calculator will
display a chance for him to drop another TP Scroll.
So don't mix those two together.

Super-Uniques >	Super-unique monsters usually drop 2 items and 4 potions.
The calculator only gives info for the items.

Drop Rates >	Drop Chances are shown for 1 player games, and I have
no plans on adding a feature to calculate drops for
		bigger games.

Item Search >	Item Search will take ca. 10 - 20 seconds. At first, it may
seem that nothing happens, but just wait for a few seconds
and you will soon see some results. Note that it lists from
		LOWEST TO HIGHEST.

Sorting >	The items tend to get sorted in a kinda wrong order, when the
chances get higher. For example, 2.1 is "higher" than 20. I
apologize for the inconvinience. (specially The Countess)

MAGIC FIND DIMINISHING RETURNS
------------------------------

If you have more than 110% mf (magic find), a special magic find diminishing
return formula is applied. It diminishes your actual mf for unique, set and rare
items. It does not apply for magic items. By entering your %mf number in the
magic find box, and click the "Calculate real magic find" button, you can see
what your real mf is for unique, set and rare items - after the diminishing return
formula.

The diminishing return formula is only active in version 1.09 and higher.

NOTE: When searching for item drop chances, do not put in the magic find value after
diminishing returns. The program will calculate that itself in the item search procedure.
