Sorcerers can learn fewer spells than wizards, however, they can cast more spells in a given battle and dont need to prepare their spells ahead of time.

Since sorcerers gain their powers without years of study, they have more time to learn fighting skills and become proficient in a wider array of weapons.

A sorcerer often has a powerful presence that gives him a way with people, and he may serve as the face for an adventuring party, negotiating, bargaining, and speaking for others.

A sorcerer defines his role based on his spell selection.  A sorcerer who focuses on damage-dealing spells becomes a center o the partys offense power.  Another may rely on more subtle magic such as charms, enchantments, or hold spells.  The sorcerer can also act as a healer to Warforged, the living constructs that survived the Last War.

Sorcerers create magic the way a poet creates poems, with inborn talent honed by practice. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will.  Some sorcerers claim that the blood of dragons course through their veins.  It is common knowledge that certain powerful dragons can take humanoid form and even have humanoid lovers, and its difficult to prove that a given sorcerer does not have a dragon ancestor.  Sorcerers often have very good looks, usually with a touch of the exotic, that hints at an unusual heritage.

Charisma determines how powerful a spell a sorcerer can cast, how many bonus spell points he receives, and how hard those spells are to resists.

The sorcerers class skills and Bluff and Concentration.

Concentration enables the sorcerer to continue casting even when interrupted by an attack, making this skill critical to a sorcerers success in battle.

Sorcerers with extra skill points may want to invest in other social skills, other than Bluff, such as Diplomacy or Haggle, since they already have a high Charisma score.

As a sorcerer, common feat choices related to your class abilities include Mental Toughness and Combat Casting.

Given your weak combat stature, Toughness may have some appeal since it provides extra Hit Points. Dodge can improve your weak Armor Class.

Ultimately, though, spellcasting is where your power lies.  Metamagic feats like Empower Spell can be used to offer significant short-term boost in spell power.

Sorcerers begin play with Heroic Durability, Inscribe Scroll, Magical Training, Simple Weapon Proficiency, and Sneak.
Admittedly, this choice is tough, since Charisma is the most important ability score for sorcerers.  However, dwarf sorcerers can take solace in the fact that they have more hit points than sorcerers of almost any other race.
