Will you please review my qualifications for work in your organization? My training, my attitude and my personal skills qualify me for the post of Trainee Engineer in your reputed organization.
My training for engineering/technical work primarily consists of four years Materials Engineering study at NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi (Pakistan). The Bachelors of Materials Engineering degree I received has given me a broad foundation of business knowledge. As a Material major, I studied all the functional fields (Quality Control, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), Inspection and Testing of Materials, Production and Refining of Materials, Heat Treatment, Corrosion Protection and Prevention,) as well as the other core subjects. I have a knowledge base that will enable me to be productive now and I can build upon the base by gaining practical experience.
My stay in the university brought about some pleasant changes in my attitude. Being taciturn and reserved by nature, I learned to interact and socialize with the people and built a huge social circle. This is the evidence of my non-rigid, flexible and adaptive attitude.
Throughout university, I devoted time to the development of my personal skills. For the very reasons, I was made the group leader for my final year project group. As I am seeking my maiden job, I must use means other than work experience to prove my work attitude. My academic record at NED is evidence that I took my studies seriously and I worked hard. My CGPA (3.516) placed me among the good students of the graduating class. Being a good student, I had always been sought as a ‘makeshift lecturer’ during the exam preparation leaves, by my classmates.
