1. Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet takes place in a town called Verona. It starts out where a fight breaks loose between the servants of two noble families, the Montague and the Capulet. After the fight occurs the ruler of Verona, Prince Escalus tries to prevent any further fights between them by decreeing death for any member of the family who disturbs the peace in the future. Romeo is the son of Montague, who he confides his love for Rosaline, who is a woman that does not find the affection the same. Juliet is the daughter of the Capulet, who she seeks the hand of marriage to Paris who is a kinsman of the prince, yet she has to wait two years because she is only fourteen years old. The Capulet throws a feast and Romeo and his cousin Benvolio decide to go, just so Romeo can go see Rosaline. Once they get to feast Romeo spots Juliet and falls in love with her immediately. There seemed to be a profound attraction toward Romeo and Juliet when they first start talking. Soon after they kiss, then they each find out that there each related to the families that hate each other and both are upset. Romeo goes and sees his friend Friar Lawrence to see if he would be able to marry them secretly. And he does. The only other person who knows about this is Juliet&#8217;s nurse. She puts a ladder up to Juliet&#8217;s room so that he can climb up to her window for there wedding night. The next everything gets ruined. Tybalt (Juliet&#8217;s cousin) tries to start a fight with Romeo because he was pissed off that he attended the feast, but Romeo didn&#8217;t want to , so Benvolio says that he will. Once they start fighting Romeo tries to stop it by getting between them , Tybalt ends up stabbing Benvolio and kills him. Romeo had so much anger in him that he kills Tybalt. The prince found out and declared that he was banned from Verona  and had to go to Mantua. Romeo is able to spend his wedding night with Juliet and is set to leave the next morning. When Juliet finds out, it doesn&#8217;t really bother her because she knows she&#8217;s meant to be with him. Romeo and Juliet spend the night together and he left the next morning. Juliet&#8217;s father arranges that she will marry Paris in three days. Juliet can&#8217;t tell her parents so she tries to figure out away so she could be with Romeo, she did but it didn&#8217;t work out the way she wanted it to. She Drank this potion that would make her look dead, so everybody would actually think she was, which they did. When Romeo found out he went to where she lying and Paris was there scattering flowers. Paris wouldn&#8217;t let him go through so he killed him. Romeo standing right next to Juliet, drinks the potion and dies. Right after he takes Juliet wakes up and realizes he&#8217;s dead. She kisses his poisoned lips and takes his dagger and stabs it into her chest. The Capulet and Montague see there children&#8217;s bodies lying there dead and decide to raise gold statues of them side-by-side in a newly peaceful Verona.


2. Antony and Cleopatra
This takes place in Egypt and Rome. Antony is one of the three rulers of the Roman empire. Antony is married but has an affair going on with the queen Cleopatra. One day Antony receives a message that his wife is dead, he feels that he needs to go back to Rome. Meanwhile when he arrives back to Rome him and Caesar quarrel and Lepidus tries to make peace. They both realize that an alliance is needed at the time so that they can defeat Pompey. While this is going on Antony and Caesar both agree that Antony will marry Caesars sister, yet Enobarbus (Antony good friend) knows that Antony will return to Cleopatra. Cleopatra soon finds out about the marriage and flips out, but she isn&#8217;t scared because she knows that she will win his heart. Antony and Caesar get in a argument and Antony offers to fight him at sea, so Cleopatra can command a ship. Antony ends up loosing the fight when Cleopatra&#8217;s ship flees, leaving the rest to attack. Antony gets upset at Cleopatra for doing that but soon forgives her. Antony goes to Caesar&#8217;s camp to fight and wins. Antony soon thinks that Cleopatra has betrayed him so he wants to kill her.  She knows she needs to be protected so she goes to her monument and leaves a note saying that she committed suicide. Antony finds out and decides he needs to join her. When he asked the attendant to kill him, he killed himself instead, when all of a sudden he falls right on his own sword, but does not yet die. Antony gets taken to Cleopatra where they reunite there love just before he passes away. Caesar comes and take Cleopatra as a prisoner so that he can display her at a testament in Rome for the might of his empire. Cleopatra soon finds out what he is doing and kills herself, with some poisonous snakes.
