2. Write a letter to Ophelia explaining why Hamlet thinks women are weak and dishonest.

3. Write a letter to Claudius or Hamlet expressing Gertrude’s views to them on women’s rights in that era.

Claudius
4. Write a letter to England telling why Hamlet should be put to death as soon he arrives with Guildenstern and Rosencrantz.

Polonius
5. Write a letter to Ophelia telling her why she should not see Hamlet anymore
6. Claudius decides to get a new Chamberlain of the court, write a speech to Claudius telling him why you (Polonius) should still be the Lord Chamberlain of Claudius’s court.
7. Polonius ends up alive and gets a chance to report to Claudius on what happened in
Gertrude’s bed chamber. Based on your knowledge of Polonius, would Polonius try and manipulate the situation, what would he say to the king?

Horatio
8. Write a speech that Horatio has to give to explain what happened and how the noble family ended up dead.

9. Compare and Contrast the dead king and the new king trough the eyes of Hamlet and then trough the eyes of Gertrude
10. Write through the eyes of the dead king about what he feels toward Claudius’s treachery and Gertrude’s decisions.
