since 1977. I have been interested in electronics since early teens, ultimately
working on multi-processor machines and servicing them all over Europe. I first
started programming mainframe computers
in Fortran at 13 years old. I have also used Algol, Pascal, a certain amount of
Delphi and BBC basic?, Other microprocessor specific Languages such as Assembly
language Programing for 6502, 6800, 8080 and Z80.
In recent years I have
used Photography along with writing to produce articles for a Magazine called
Magpie. I was on the editing team, and did
most of the computer compilation, scanning in the photographs and
setting out the layout using pagemaker 5.0. Due to excessive printing costs it
finished at Issue 4. I have created an e-mail address and Web space for the
magazine. I have currently arranged a meeting with some of the members of the
main editorial group with a view to resurrecting the magazine and to discuss it’s
future on the Web. So far the response has been positive.
