Todd
I search for the answers deep within his eyes
Only a child and yet a disguise
There was no one to love him
No one to care
Remembering the nightmare that he and his family share
Painful memories yet he can't shed a tear
Spending his childhood suffering from fear
Feelings of resentment, feelings of hate
Such a sweet little boy yet so wicked a fate
He cried out in pain yet nobody came
He was covered in bruises, drowned them in shame
An innocent victim, a face with no name
The cries of help were of no use
A victim imprisoned in child abuse
But then came his angel he owes her his life
She held in her hand the bloody knife
The evil is gone, blackness is drawn
Yet now she's in prison, he can't block the vision
Separated by iron bars
He'll spend the rest of his life with mental scars
With pain and suffering they still share
He is still need ing for someone to care
I cry when I see him
What's it like to be him
If you have it bad
Remember Todd
