Her eyes rolled back inside her head
A false accusation wanting her dead
The burning of flesh stripped from her soul
Surrounded by straw, standing on coal
Unanimous agreement to burn her at stake
Sacrificing her life was a major mistake
Fluid's whistling in the flame
Her friends hung back their heads down in shame
Her body was now contorted and twisted
When hysteria struck "Burn Her" they insisted
Yet now theres no sign she ever existed
Ignorant people gathered around
Their mouths opened wide, making no sound
Then there were tose that knew it was wrong
Gave her a funeral, sang the sad song
But no one could ever bring her back
And no one would miss the one that they lack
So instead of a rose they wrote her a poem
