Repairing our old cars took much of our time in this trip

We had to go back to west and circumvent the muddy area which covers almost all of the western part of Rig-e Jenn.

After much driving through the steppes, we decided to try entering the Rig-e Jenn again, but we had to pass these nasty riverbeds on the way.

A dangerous area between the western steppes and Rig-e Jenn. At one point all our seven cars were on the verge of getting stuck into the mud.

We found safty in this dune area we named Pirtaq. This could well be our gateway into Rig-e Jenn in our next trips.

Back to civilization. This is a wind pump for sheep cattles in the area west of Rig-e Jenn.
