We consider the sun and its atmosphere as a
spherical lens causing deviation of stars light and also decrease
of its speed in the lens. Such a lens can probably make a multiple
image of a star. It is also shown that the sun, because of its
atmosphere, is in fact smaller than what an observer measures. We
show that the above-mentioned spherical lens is non-dispersive
practically.
