| T.W's German School Adventure Part III A month has passed Mid-term battle! T.W: Hamha! I greatly enjoyed my first day at Stravland, my teachers are great if not a little strict, I also met Abby another friend of mine. We all share some classes and it's really cool to hang out together. A whole month has passed and it's the day of my midterm. I hope I do well. Saturday 6:50 AM A month indeed had passed and T.W with his schoolbag on his shoulder looking out the window at the robust landscape of the city. T.W: Well today is my mid-term, I'm really nervous. I know I've practiced and studied but still I'm nervous. Then Kiki who was all ready came up to him. Kiki: Hey T, why the lagging about? We've got mid-terms today. T.W: I know. I'm just a little nervous. Kiki: Don't be, I know you can do it. We've been studying together for weeks and you have done well each time, just do your best and you'll have no regrets. T.W: Right, that's all I have to remember. Kiki: That and the questions and cooking. The two chuckle a bit and quickly walk out the door. Just 7:00 AM It was very quiet in Kitchen 10-A as the students anxiously await Mr. Russell's instruction. Mr. Russell: This is it everyone, this is the first milestone into graduating. This midterm is for half your overall grade so you must take this seriously, I expect you all to show me what you're made of so let's get started in- 3 2 1- (Starts his stopwatch) Begin! Everyone quickly gets what they need and gets to work, Rummel shows great intensity as he collects what he needs and wants to do better then T.W who is able to keep a level head and remain calm. In every class after he took a part of his midterm, even in gym he ran through a challenging obstacle course and soon his midterms were through. Later on after school he, Ari, Kiki and Abby went to Javaisms for a nice hot cup of the usual. (Sips) T.W: So how'd the midterms go for you? Ari: It was tough but I think I got through it unshaved. What about the rest of you? Kiki: Abby and I did well, though I was a little scared. Abby: Luckily Sunday's our day off, I'm wiped. Ari: Not just Sunday, after the midterms all students get 2 weeks off. Then there's one more week of normal classes before final exams. T.W: Two whole weeks huh? This gives me a chance to get out on the town. Kiki: Well there's a little festival tomorrow, let's check it out. Ari: I'll be there. Abby: Me too, are you up for it T? T.W: Why not? Let's do it! Soon after our friends say there goodbyes and go to bed early for the big festival. The next the town is filled with streamers and gold trim along the paved streets, the festival had arrived and all the townsfolk were celebrating, except for our trio who hadn't arrived yet. T.W was cycling up the road and Kiki and Abby followed close behind on foot and saw the wide stretched display of fun all around. (Waving from the street) Ari: Hey guys over here! They quickly stop in front of him very excited. T.W: Well you're the first to arrive, how'd you get here from home so fast? Ari: I never left. I stayed at the inn and came early so I wouldn't miss a minute. Kiki: Well now were all here, so let's get this party started! Therefore, everyone enjoyed the festival with its fun music, interesting exhibits, and great food, which happened to be catered by the Stravland academy. Soon much time passed and they rested on an old bench completely worn out. T.W: Even a festival such as this can really tire out a guy. Ari: You said it, I shouldn't have gone to the limbo line the third time. Kiki: Well I know I won't eat so much next time and save the rest to take home and eat later. Abby: Me too. Just then, Mr. Russell came running up to them with great excitement. Mr. Russell: Oh there you four are. T.W: Good afternoon Mr. Russell, are you enjoying the festival? Mr. Russell: Yes, it's a wonderful festival just as we have every year. Anyway, I came to tell you your results came in a little while ago. Kiki and Abby you both did greatly well. Ari you're special blend of coffee beans and interestingly enough tealeaves made a splash, and T.W as usual your work was worth the high marks it received. T.W: Thank you sir. However, if you don't mind my asking but do you usually deliver the news personally? Mr. Russell: Not often but you all show great promise and wanted you to know that. Well I better be going. He soon ran off leaving our quartet to thinking- Ari: So we did do well. (Sigh) Kiki and Abby: Boy, what a relief. T.W: I guess all my practice really did pay off. Voice: Yes indeed it did, bravo Mr. T.W! Everyone turned to see it was Rummel. Kiki: Oh, it's you Rummel. Abby: What do you want? Rummel: Oh, I was just enjoying the festival and decided to pop by. I just saw Mr. Russell leaving you three and I take it was to tell you how well you did on midterms? T.W: Yes in fact, but how'd you know that? Did he come to you earlier? Rummel flinched a little and had a weird expression on his face, he soon snapped out of it a said with his nose raised- Rummel: Why of course he came to me, he said I'd done remarkably well. Well I best be going, see ya later- And with that he was off. Soon after night, fell, and our quartet saw the beautiful fireworks in the sky. T.W: This is great! Ari: I know just what you mean. Kiki: Sharing a festival with- Abby: Your dearest friends is always is pleasure. Meanwhile in a secluded area Rummel enjoyed the fireworks from a far. (Thinking) Rummel: Why couldn't we share this together? I guess you were just too busy father. Later that night T.W sat at his bed and just couldn't sleep, he began to slowly drift off to sleep, as he slept he had a dream of his mother- You see in all the dreams he had of his mother she was well and active and this one was no different as they were in the kitchen of their old house. T.W: Mom, could you fix my lunch? Mom: I really can't now, I'm too busy- T.W: Please mom, it's more special that way. Mom: Well if you put it that way. As she started to get what she needed T.W was very happy, just then he woke up to find it had been the fifth dream he had since he came out here. He walked to the window and opened and sat at the window seat feeling very confused. T.W: Will these dreams ever stop? It's never going to be like that so why do I obsess over it? The breeze of the night brushed against him as he lay down and while in a very unorthodox position returns to dreamland. The next day he awakes to find Kiki gone and a letter on his head. He looked to see it was sent from Soroto village. He opened it up to see it was a letter from Henrietta. Bonjour T.W I thought since you were in Europe I'd drop you a line. Ari tells you are attending Stravland academy, well I know you're doing well so keep at it. Also since, you have 2 weeks off why don't you come and visit? We have a space at the clubhouse waiting for you. Hope to see ya soon, Henrietta. T.W: That's nice of her, maybe I should go. After a nice breakfast, he heads into town where he sees Kiki and Abby in Javaisms and goes inside to join them. Kiki: So you're friends from France want you to visit them? T.W: Yeah but I didn't feel right about going without telling you. Would you like to come with me? Kiki: Thanks but I don't want to be the umpteenth wheel, besides its best that visit was kept personal. Abby: Yeah don't worry about us. We'll be fine while you're gone. T.W: Thanks, I'll be back soon. Much time later, he had packed all he needed and went to the dock and boarded a ship that would soon take him to France. To be continued Please Review!!! |
