Hakeru has had a short yet interesting life so far. Hakeru ounce lived with an old lady named Hakeru. At that time, she had no name for Hakeru (the grandmother) just could not think of one. She took care of her from the time she was born, her friends and family started dying off, and Hakeru was the only close friend she had.
Her daughter Osono and her brother Kenshi were the only ones left of the original family. After she died, Kenshi looked after Hakeru until the apartment owner said pets would no longer be allowed, after looking over the will one last time Kenshi realized that her granddaughter Susan, Osono, and husband Mishira Okogata have a daughter Susan who has a gentle outlook and open heart inherited the girl hamster.
When she was a little baby, she loved to play with her grandma and her hamster friend. So she gave her to Susan but along the way she got lost and injured, but with the help of T.W and the ham-hams gave her a helping hand or paw in this case she was happily in a new family and was finally given a name
To honor her grandma Susan named her Hakeru and would forever stay at her side. She owes a lot to her new friends whom without she would never had this opportunity especially T.W.
Hakeru�s opinion of Hamtaro is always changing she sees him in a new way each time but are friends the same way, she sees Boss a father but for different reasons than T.W, her parents had disappeared 2 days after she was born. It was so long ago Hakeru could barely remember she was a baby after all. Around this time, Hakeru adopted her and their bond instantly began.
The two had an amazingly strong connection like Hamtaro and Laura do but even more so, they converse there words and expressions so freely you would forget that they were not the same species.
Now she and Susan are beginning to realize this sensation is passed down in a new and exciting way.
Stan has a super crush on her and I mean real cannot speak the words I want type of crush. However, since he had been known for excessive flirting no one thought it was as sincere as it really was.
At first before Hakeru before she knew this she was flattered, but after finding out about the flirting she became very cold to him leaving a brokenhearted soul to morn in silence. Soon Hakeru would get past it and agreed to be just friends, at least for now.
She also sought to Pashmina as mother for the same reasons she sought to Boss as a father but neither of them knows that yet.
She gets both scared and annoyed when Howdy and Dexter fight over Pashmina. However, unlike Boss, she gets them to relax simply by holding their paws and tell them to breathe in and out and soon things calm down if not for a few minutes
She and Sandy often talk about there dancing or keeping fit when there not talking about the guys. Hakeru being a dancer often helps Sandy with her routines.
You can see she is busy with all her new friends and feels whenever she spends time with them she helps repay them in all ways possible for all they have done.
Hakeru especially owes T.W a lot of gratitude for getting her to Susan but also begins to fall in love with and vice versa.
Hakeru is a kind caring ham. She loves soccer, writing, and talking with friends. T.W has a super crush on her hoping that she is the one. Hakeru is also good with kids like Penelope and hopes to be good mother someday Penelope has her vote.
