Chapter 12 - The Reunion, Challenge of the Black Alliance

Raishiuko slowly opens the door to whoever is knocking and opens it.

Raishiuko: Umm. Hello? Anyone?

She doesn't see anything.

Hamtaro: Laura?

Raishiuko looks down.

Raishiuko: Hamtaro? No it can't be.

Hamtaro: Yep, Laura it’s really me!

Raishiuko: *checks Player lookup* It is you. And you were the same hamster back at that one place.

It really is you.

Hamtaro: I thought I lost you.

Raishiuko: Oh Hamtaro!

She picks him up and hugs him.

Later on Jullianno explains what he told the others, his name and about the Black Alliance.

Hamtaro: So you can't log out at all? That's horrible.

Jullianno: At least we now know you have nothing to do with the power surges, or the cases of the monsters suddenly have increased their power all of a sudden.

T.W.: Well at least that's out of the way.

Boss: (Hmm. The Black Alliance. What do they wish to obtain from this game?)

Bijou: You worried about something Boss?

Boss: Um, no.

Raishiuko: Hey, I think I know some of you little guys. You have owners like Hamtaro right?

Hakeru: Well except for Boss. He's just a field hamster.

Osimaru: You're.. friends with it?

Boss: .....

T.W: Oh he's not so bad, I too don't have an owner.

Nike: Was that guy who kidnap us one of the dark alliance?

Jullianno: Yes. And at first I thought they were part of them. But I guess I was wrong.

(Smoke coming out of his ears)

Boss: Why would you think we would be one of them?! There's no way we could be one of them.

Bijou: Control yourself Boss.

Jullianno: Because...their second best member is a hamster like you.

They all gasp.

Jullianno: But he look mostly like the orange one there.

Hamtaro: Me?

Raishiuko: But my Hamtaro would never be evil.

Jullianno: Well I can see that. But I think its best that you all stay here for a while until we can figure things out.

Raishiuko's C.R.A.P-C-: You got Mail!

Raishiuko: I wonder who it can be. *checks* "Greetings. I'm sorry about everything that is happening to you right now, you not being able to log out and all. I know because I'm one of the victims as well. If you can, please get help from the game officials.

The Black Alliance has struck the Land of Flowers. Located near Yutona Town. Please hurry. I don't think we can hold on much longer."

Nike: Who do you think could have sent it?

Osimaru: And how she know we were infected?

Jullianno: Looks like a job for me.

He leaves the house.

Hamtaro: Wait! What about us?

Jullianno: Stay there. Do not leave for anything!

Hamtaro: But..

Jullianno disappears.

Hamtaro: I don't care what he says, I'm going too!

Raishiuko: Yeah. I want to get my hands on that guy who did this to us.

Osimaru: I'll go too.

Nike: I think we'll all go.

Now everyone is somehow flying on Fi's back.

Osimaru: Wow. This is freaky. My little Fi turned into an Arcania Phoenix.

Fi: I won't let anything harm you Osimaru.

Hamtaro: There it is!

They see the Land of Flowers, and half is burning.

Howdy: Wow. The flowers burn faster than wood does in lava.

T.W.: This is not good.

They fly down. They see some rogue fighters and soldiers burning the fields and fighting off other players. Knocked out players get logged out one by one.

Player: Ahhhh!

Game Voice: Beneath, logging out!

He disappears.

Nike: This is awful.

Hakeru: Look over there! I think I see the leader!

It's the guy from before.

Raishiuko: That's the guy who kidnapped us! Checks PSU (Player Scanning Unit)

PSU: Mitro.

Level: 50

Class: Necromancer

Osimaru: He must be the leader.

Look at his level.

Nike: And all of us are only in the 10s.

Hamtaro: Let us take them. We're at a high level.

Raishiuko: But Hamtaro...

Thug: More of them! Get them!

Two thugs start charging at them.

Boss: *scans a card* Nightmare Blast!

He slashes the air with the Black Diamond Axe to log out the thugs (they are players too).

Boss: I think we should get to work ham-hams!

Hamtaro: Yeah. Charge!

Now they are all fighting thugs that come at them and gaining EXP. Bijou takes one out and one pounces on her.

Boss: Hang on Bijou I'll...*Hamtaro saves her* save you....

Bijou: Thanks Hamtaro. *to Boss* Why are you fooling around Boss? Shouldn't you be fighting?

Boss: I was gonna save you.

After some thugs were taken cared of Raishiuko hears a scream as a girl player is chased.

Raishiuko: She's in trouble!

Nike jumps in and slices the thug, logging him out. The others take out more thugs until every thug is taken out.

Everyone's C.R.A.P-C-: Group level up!

Everyone levels up a lot. The ham-hams are now level 30, while Boss is 31. The others go to level 27.

Hamtaro: Alright!

The mysterious man now known as Mitro claps his hands.

Mitro: Good job. You've succeeded in defeating my minions. Fact is, are you ready to take me on?

Boss: Yeah, yeah, I'll see you in the real world. *slashes card that shows a guy with a speed aura* Take this!

He runs very fast at Mitro. Mitro waves his staff.

Mitro: Oh really? *slams staff to ground* Zombie Han d! A hand from below grabs Boss.

Boss: What the heck!? Let me go!

Mitro: Like I'm going too. This will only stop after I say so.

Raishiuko: You're the one who took us prisoner aren't you?

Mitro: And you must be the naughty prisoners who escaped. I see you're alive and well.

Nike: What do you want here? And with us before?

Mitro: You all have something I want. And I plan to get it.

Hamtaro: What's he talking about?

T.W: Something about the cards, but I'm not sure what.

Mitro: I am after your Perfect Digital Cards.

Osimaru: Okay, why are you after them?

Mitro: I am after these rare and powerful cards for my master. They are the main source of his plan for world game domination.

Raishiuko: So you're just after cards?

Mitro: There's more to these cards than you think little girl. And I plan to take them!

He summons the undead.

Mitro: Get them!

Now zombies attack.

Fi: *spreads wings* You have made a big mistake!

Fi starts to glow.

Mitro: What? The Arcania Phoenix?

The zombies stop.

Fi: You seek to destroy my master and her friends, then you shall feel my wrath.

Energy particles come out of everyone but Boss (who is still in the zombie hands grip).

Bijou: What is going on?

T.W: He must be using our energy.

Boss: Hey! How come I'm not having energy coming out of me?

Fi finishes and His wings turn to flames.

Fi: Thousand Fires!

He unleashes a wave of flame and energy, destroying the zombies. They head for Mitro, and he tries to block.

Mitro: Where did this power come from? *remembers something* Wait! It can't be. *flashback of Fi as a Chibi Phoenix* It's that bird! Nooo!

Voice: Mitro, logging out!

Fi is panting in exhaustion.

Hamtaro: Alright Fi!

Osimaru: Yeah! Great work Fi!

Raishiuko: I think we all did it this time. Mitro is gone!

Hamtaro: Thanks to us, Fi was able to beat Mitro.

Boss gets free from the zombie's grip.

Boss: What does he mean? He didn't even take my energy.

Everyone except Boss's C.R.A.P-C-: Level up!

Everyone except Boss advances to level 36. Boss is still level 32.

Hamtaro: Alright!

Boss: How come I didn't get a level?

C.R.A.P-C-'s: Group level up!

Everyone but Boss gets a level. Everyone cheers but Boss.

Boss: What gives? Why not I get a level?

Oxnard: Thanks to us and Fi!

Jullianno watches from no where.

Jullianno: They really did it. They are the ones who could save this world.

Girl (from before): Thank you warriors. You have all saved this place and protected the secret of the field of flowers.

Osimaru: Thanks.

Fi collapses in exhaustion.

Osimaru: Oh no! Fi!

Girl: Oh no. Your Phoenix is hurt. Must be from after using that attack it did.

Osimaru: What should we do?

Girl: Come over to my place. I know a spell to teach to your pop star that will help your friend.

Nike: Okay.

Raishiuko: That's cool.

Hamtaro: You're right T.W, in this world following your heart makes all the difference.

T.W: See, I told ya.

Girl: One more thing. Even though you never got this mission from the cafe in town, I'll still give you the reward. Each one of you.

She presses an icon on her C.R.A.P-C- and everyone but Boss gets item and spell cards.

Girl: Come on! Follow me!

They follow her.

Boss: Hey! Where's my reward? How come I didn't get anything?

Girl: We just walk along this path and we'll be there soon.

So they run off with the mysterious girl leading the way-

Boss: Hey! *he starts running after* Argh!!!!!! Why am I being left out? Then in a bush two glowing eyes appear.

Who is this mysterious girl? Who is the leader of the Black Alliance? Why didn't Fi use Boss's energy during the Thousand Fire attack? And why is Boss being left out or getting group levels or prizes? Find out next time.
