Comencement tourney
Monday: 11.30 -- 12.30
A tourney that combines a meatgrinder tourney with a single elimination
tourney. When entering the tourney all fencers rolls a dice. The result
of the roll is equal to the fencers initial points.
A single elimination tourney then begins and the first round is fought.
The winner in a bout adds the points from the loser to his own and the
looser is out of the single elimination. The looser however keeps the
points.
For example: Viscountess Elsa fights Viscount Padrain in the
firsta round. Elsa is the winner of the bout. Elsa rolled 1 and Padraig
3 at the beginning of the tourney. Elsa now has 4 points and Padraig
keeps his 3.
The persons who loses in the singel elimination tourney are placed in
a challenge tourney. The order of challenge is determined by the amount
of points. The persons with least points may challenge before those
with more points in each round. The challenge que is recalculated after
each complete round. The challenge tourney continues as long as the
single elimination tourney is running. When the final (best of three)
is over in the single tourney group the challenge tourney is allso over.
The person with the highest amount of points will face the winner of
the single elimination tourney.
Rules:
1) No fencer in the challenge tourney may challenge a fencer in the
single elimination tourney.
2) A fencer has the right to deny one challenge per round.
3) Bye fights are not worth any points.
4) A fencer may leave the tourney at any time but may not come back.
5) The fencer with least points challenge first. If two fencers has
the same amount of points a roll with the dice will decide who will
challenge first.
6) When going from single to challenge tourney you bring the amount
of points that has been building in the single tourney.
Example: If Viscountess Elsa looses the next bout she will enter
the challeng tourney with 4 points. Default blade: Light, however fencers

all fencers all gather and briefly discuss what the fencer did good
and what he/she can improve. The fencer with least experience begins
giving constructive critique and the fencer with most experience gives
advise last. When not being in the "hole" you are supposed to look at
the fencer in the hole thinking on positive and negative aspects of
his technique. Double kills will not be re-fought. Fencers use a weapon

Perspectives on Teaching
Monday: 18.15 -- 18.45
A discussion on different perspectives in teaching people how to fence
within the society. Are there different traditions within the kingdom?
Is there a difference in teaching heavy and light blades? How can we
share our wisdom? What drills do you use in your group and so on...
The discussion will be held in the tavern. All fencers, teachers and
beginners are welcome! Here
is a picture of the mood we are aiming for after a long day of fencing.
